Seguin, the county seat of Guadalupe County, is on Interstate Highway 10 and the Guadalupe River, thirty-five miles northeast of

Downtown Seguin is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and includes 26 square blocks. Seguin is one of the oldest towns in the state. Many of the buildings in the downtown date back to the early 1900s and some date as far back as the days of the Republic of Texas.
