As One of the largest towns in New York State, Cheektowaga is centrally located in Western New York. We are a first-ring suburb of the City of Buffalo, with a population of about 87,000 residents, as determined by the US Census 2006 American Community Survey. The Village of Sloan and a portion of the Village of Depew are located within our borders.

Traveling to Cheektowaga from almost anywhere is easy. We have convenient access to the New York State Thruway, Amtrak, NFTA-Metro and the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport, all located in the Town of Cheektowaga, and we are just 10 minutes from the Canadian border.
