Detroit is the largest city in the state of Michigan, the 11th largest city in the United States and is part of the eighth largest metropolitan area. Detroit is in Wayne County.

Additionally each concourse offers fans wide open swaths with widths of 40 feet on the main level and 32 feet otherwise.

Included in Comerica Park is a ferris wheel, a large water feature in center field, and a timeline based pedestrian museum, The Walk of Fame, chronicling baseball history. The outfield stands do not include an upper deck and thus the ball park offers one of the best views of a downtown skyline in all of baseball. The $300 million facility saw construction between October 29, 1997 and 2000. A public-private partnership was undertaken to finance the construction.

There are many areas in Detroit for cycling, roller-blading, water sports, fishing, hiking, hunting or any other outdoor activity that catches your fancy. Wayne County MetroParks are popular places for the locals with many indoor and outdoor recreational activities available. The MetroParks maintain the beauty of Detroit, the river and the outlying areas of Detroit for all to enjoy.

If your looking for music: The hometown of such world famous singers as Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Bob Seger, Eminem, the Winans, and Kid Rock, Detroit is teeming with clubs, bars and concert venues that spotlight homegrown talent as well as national and international stars.
