In the summer of 2009, SMC Corporation, the world's largest manufacturer of pneumatic automation products, will open their new headquarters in Noblesville and will bring over 275 new jobs to the area. EnerDel, which develops lithium ion battery solutions that will improve the performance, fuel efficiency and cost of Hybrid Electric Vehicles; Perkins Logistics and Specialized Transportation; and a large retirement facility are just some of the new businesses starting up or relocating to Noblesville.

Noblesville Schools are almost consistently rated as four-star schools by the State of Indiana, and one of our elementary schools, Hazel Dell, was recently rated as a Blue Ribbon School by the federal government. Noblesville High School has been named a "Best Buy" high school for the ninth straight year by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. Many county high schools offer adult education classes for college credit, and Noblesville is just a half hour away from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, Ivy Tech, and Anderson University.

Our community features four City parks and two County parks. The City's oldest and largest park is 150-acre Forest Park, established in 1925. Our newest park, established in 2007, is the Dr. James A. Dillon Park, approximately 77 acres of beautiful ground with a playground, a shelter, multi-purpose playing fields, a concession stand, a spray park and trails. Noblesville inhabitants also take full advantage of being close to the museums, music venues, theaters and shops of Indianapolis.
