Gurnee Days is held the second full weekend in August, and most of the events take place in the Village Center (Viking Park, Peterson Park, Library, Viking School, and the Police and Fire Stations).
The civic heart of Gurnee is Village Center, where the village hall, high school, public library and park district offices are located.
