Wethersfield is a town in Harford County, Connecticut. Many records from colonial times spell the name Weathersfield, while Native Americans called it Pyquag.

Settled in 1634, Wethersfield is one of Connecticut's oldest towns. The pleasing colonial character of its early days is still evident today in the exceptional number of preserved homes and buildings, and its quaint old New England charm.
