Greeley is a city of parks. One can hardly drive through town anywhere and not run into a park. Some of the parks are situated around a lake. One lake in particular is in Glenmere park which has been the principal park of interest since I was a child when my parents came to Greeley from Platteville, where I grew up, to just meander around and enjoy the many species of flowers and have a nice quiet picnic. Now, all the flowers are gone except the water lillies on a small pond.
