The City of Colorado Springs is the second most populous city in the State of Colorado and the 49th most populous city in the United States. The city is the county seat of El Paso County. Colorado Springs is located just east of the geographic center of the state and 63 miles south of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver.

Art galleries are plentiful, many of which are Southwest and Indian themed and pay tribute to the area's cultural heritage.
