Noccalula Falls - Legend has it that the breathtaking beauty of this waterfall in this Alabama park does not compare to the beauty of the Indian girl for which it is named, Noccalula. Grief-stricken, her father gave the natural wonder his daughter's name and it is now known as Noccalula Falls.
In addition to the beauty of the falls, this beautiful park boasts many historic sites including a gorge trail depicting caves and Indian carvings, an old aboriginal fort, an abandoned dam, and Civil War carvings.
